Blostem Named a Fintech Startup to Watch by Inc42

Inc42 features Blostem in its June 2026 'Fintech Startups To Watch' list, spotlighting its single-API banking infrastructure that lets brokers, fintechs, and wealth platforms launch FDs, FD-backed credit cards, and credit on UPI across a network of 10+ banks and NBFCs.

Blostem Featured in Inc42's "Fintech Startups To Watch"

Inc42 has named Blostem among the fintech startups that caught its eye in June 2026, profiling the company under the banner "Providing Digital Distribution Infra To NBFCs." The recognition highlights Blostem's role in solving the integration challenge for fintech apps that want to offer banking products without building one-off connections to every bank.

What Inc42 Highlighted

According to the feature, Blostem provides a single API that enables brokers, fintech applications, payment companies, and wealth-management platforms to launch fixed deposit products and credit services without building individual bank integrations. Partners integrate once and gain access to Blostem's network of 10 banks and NBFCs — including Suryoday SFB, Unity SFB, Bajaj Finance, Shriram Finance, and Mahindra Finance.

The article notes that Blostem has already onboarded platforms such as MobiKwik, Jupiter Money, Upstox, Aditya Birla Capital Digital, and GoldenPi, and is developing newer products in collaboration with its partner banks, including credit on UPI and FD-backed credit cards.

Funding and Ambition

Inc42 points to Blostem's pre-Series A round led by Rainmatter (Zerodha's investment arm), following a prior ₹4 Cr seed round from AC Ventures. Founded in 2021 by Sandeep Garg, Ravi Jain, Uday Sharma, and Pankaj Pratap Singh, the Delhi-based company is targeting 40% of India's digital fixed deposit volumes over the next few years through its partner ecosystem.
